User Guide

How do I open a repository?

Use the built-in Zip Manager to download a repository from GitHub, GitLab or Bitbucket, or import a .zip archive that you already have on your device. The repository is extracted and added to your projects, where you can open it from the home screen.

Do I need Git or a GitHub account?

No. RZR does not clone repositories and does not require any Git setup. You only need a .zip archive of the repository, which you can download directly in the app or import from your device.

Can I edit the files?

No. RZR is a read-only viewer: you can browse, search and read code, but you cannot modify the repository files.

Can I read a repository offline?

Yes. Once a repository archive has been imported and extracted, all the files are stored locally in app sandbox and can be read offline. Internet access is only used to download repository archives and to check for new versions on GitHub.

Can I download a specific branch?

Yes. The Zip Manager lets you select the branch (or tag) to download before starting the download. By default the repository default branch is used.

Why do some features appear disabled?

All plugins are disabled by default. RZR uses a plugins system: some features, like the file explorer, markdown preview or the theme customizer, can be toggled on and off from the Settings screen. Enable the corresponding plugin to use the feature.

Which languages are supported?

RZR is available in 14 languages, including English, Italian, French, German, Arabic, Spanish, Portuguese, Turkish, Chinese (Simplified & Traditional), Japanese, Korean and Russian. Please Update/Support your language here.

Are there any AI features?

AI chat plugin is not fully implemented yet and will be added in a future versions.
